Republican Liberty Caucus Constitution Day Dinner with Tulsi

On Sunday, September 24, 2023, Tulsi Gabbard, former U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district, gave a speech at the Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) Constitution Day Dinner in Melbourne, Florida. I joined them in celebrating our Constitution, Founders and honoring our military and first responders at the Republican Liberty Caucus 15th Annual Constitution Day Dinner. The dinner was hosted by the Republican Liberty Caucus of Brevard and the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida with Tulsi Gabbard as the keynote speaker.

In her speech, Gabbard warned about the dangers of the “deep state” and the “military-industrial complex.” She also criticized the Biden administration’s foreign policy, particularly its handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. The flag behind her in the photo was brought by a first responder present during September 11, 2001 and was flown at Ground Zero during that period.

Gabbard also spoke about the importance of individual liberty and the need to uphold the Constitution. She said, “The Constitution is our birthright. It is our shield against tyranny. And it is our guide to a free and just society.”

Gabbard’s speech was well-received by the RLC audience. Many attendees praised her for her courage and her commitment to the Constitution.

Gabbard’s speech is a powerful reminder of the importance of defending our democracy and our Constitution. It is also a warning about the dangers of the “deep state” and the “military-industrial complex.”

Gabbard’s speech is significant for a number of reasons. First, it comes at a time when the United States is facing a number of challenges, both foreign and domestic. Second, it is delivered by a former U.S. Representative who is known for her independent thinking and her willingness to challenge the status quo.

Gabbard’s speech is also significant because it addresses a number of issues that are important to the RLC, such as individual liberty, limited government, and a strong national defense. It is likely that Gabbard’s speech will be well-received by the RLC membership and that it will help to further her reputation as a rising star in the Republican Party.

This was a fantastic event for me as a woman to witness firsthand the courage and strength of a female leader in the world we are living in today. On a side note, I am a member of the 917 Society as you may have seen in previous posts. I am proud to say that this year we delivered 250,000 pocket constitutions to Broward county schools. Please find out more about the program at www.917society.org. I have been actively following the fires in Lahaina and would have liked additional information but it was not discussed. I am excited to read her new book coming out in January 2024. For Love of Country: Why I left the Democratic Party: Gabbard, Tulsi: 9781684514854: Amazon.com: Books Here are some photos of the event.
